System Overview & Abstract

A real-time edge security platform designed to detect, score, and mitigate compromised IoT hardware threats with zero cloud dependency. Deployed on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ gateway, it sniffs network traffic from rogue IoT nodes (ESP32-CAM) executing data exfiltration, Mirai-style UDP floods, and lateral reconnaissance. Using a statistical entropy and packet volume scoring engine, the gateway dynamically injects Linux kernel iptables rules to quarantine malicious nodes within milliseconds while streaming 3D cybernetic telemetry to an interactive command center.
